Hon’ble Judge Rajesh Sharma
Hon’ble Judge Rajesh Sharma is a distinguished legal professional and former judicial officer with a robust career spanning military justice, the state judiciary, and appellate litigation.
After completing their LL.B. in 1988, Hon’ble Judge Rajesh Sharma successfully cleared the Services Selection Board (SSB) and joined the Indian Army in 1989. In August 1990, they were commissioned as a Short Service Commission Officer in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Department, where they served until 1998.
Following their military service, Hon’ble Judge Rajesh Sharma transitioned to the civilian judiciary, joining the Haryana Civil Services (Judicial Branch) in 1998 as a Judicial Magistrate First Class-cum-Civil Judge (Junior Division) in Karnal. Over a dedicated judicial career lasting more than two and a half decades, they presided over a wide range of civil and criminal matters, ultimately retiring as an Additional District and Sessions Judge in Palwal on July 31, 2024.
Drawing upon decades of adjudicatory experience, Hon’ble Judge Rajesh Sharma is currently practicing as an Advocate at the Supreme Court of India. In addition to their active litigation practice, they serve as an Arbitrator and Mediator, utilizing their extensive background to facilitate effective alternative dispute resolution.
