J C College of Law has established an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in accordance with the provisions of The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee is formed to ensure a safe, respectful, and gender-sensitive environment for all students, faculty members, and staff on campus.
The primary objective of the ICC is to prevent and address complaints related to sexual harassment or gender-based discrimination within the institution. The committee provides a platform where individuals can raise concerns and seek redressal in a fair, confidential, and impartial manner.
The ICC also conducts awareness programs, workshops, and sensitization sessions to educate students and staff about gender equality, respectful behavior, and the prevention of harassment. These initiatives help create a culture of dignity, safety, and mutual respect within the academic community.
All complaints received by the committee are handled with strict confidentiality and sensitivity, and appropriate action is taken in accordance with institutional policies and legal provisions.
Through the functioning of the Internal Complaints Committee, J C College of Law remains committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus environment for everyone.
