The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee at J C College of Law is established to promote awareness and understanding of alternative methods for resolving disputes outside the traditional court system. The committee focuses on encouraging the use of arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and negotiation as effective, time-saving, and cost-efficient mechanisms for dispute resolution.
The ADR Committee organizes seminars, workshops, training sessions, and guest lectures to educate students about the importance and practical application of ADR techniques in the legal field. These activities help students develop skills in negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution.
The committee also encourages students to participate in ADR competitions, mediation exercises, and related academic activities, which enhance their practical knowledge and professional competence.
Through the initiatives of the ADR Committee, J C College of Law aims to develop students’ problem-solving abilities, legal awareness, and understanding of modern dispute resolution mechanisms, preparing them for diverse opportunities in the legal profession.
