Hon’ble Judge Vinay Kumar Khanna
Sh .Vinay Kumar khanna did LL.B from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi in 1988 after having graduated in Physics (Hons.) from Hansraj college University of Delhi. He completed LL.M from Kurukshetra University in 2001.
Sh. Vinay khanna had joined Delhi Judicial Service in the year 1992 & got promoted to Delhi Higher Judicial Service in January, 2006.
He has vast Judicial experience of more than 32 years during his posting both in Civil & Criminal jurisdiction as Civil Judge, Metropolitan magistrate, Additional rent controller,ADJ (HMA), Additional sessions Judge, special judge(NDPS), PO labour court,family judge, Special Judge (CBI) &Judge – incharge Mediation center ,saket ,District Judge (Commercial Court) in 2020. Principal judge family courts .
As Principal judge family court and Principal district & session judge (North district Rohini ) Delhi . He is not only a Trained Mediator having been trained as Mediator in 2007 under the aegis of Mediation & Conciliation Project Committee of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India but is also became Master Trainer since 2009 .He travelled across India imparting training in Mediation to Judicial Officers & advocates. As Judge incharge mediation center at saket district court assisted settle of about 1100 disputes/cases.
He as trainer ,visiting many universities & judicial academy for training of judges,advocates ,students & public.He has been recognised as Senior Master trainer by MCPC ( Mediation & conciliation project committee ) of Supreme court .
After he demitted office on 31st Jan 2025 as Principal district &sesssions judge Delhi ,recently conducted four training sessions for Supreme Court advocates ,judges , DRT tribunal members & chief General managers (recovery)if India & three programme for referral judges at different district courts Delhi and conducted several programs & lectures as chief guest /speaker at NLU & other colleges .Empanelled as Mediator at Supreme Court mediation center where many cases including matrimonial cases have been assigned & got settled .As arbitrator at Delhi international arbitration center & appearing as senior criminal & corporate counsel in Supreme Court,High court & National tribunals apart from being appointed as commissioneron few cases by Delhi High Court as well as honorary advisor in BRICS chamber of commerce & industry.
