The KAPILA (Kalam Program for Intellectual Property Literacy and Awareness) initiative aims to promote awareness about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and encourage innovation among students and faculty members. J C College of Law supports the objectives of the KAPILA scheme by creating awareness about the importance of protecting intellectual creations such as patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs.
Under this initiative, the institution organizes seminars, workshops, and awareness programs to educate students about intellectual property laws and the process of protecting innovative ideas and research outcomes. These activities help students understand how intellectual property contributes to innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
The program also encourages students and faculty members to engage in research, innovation, and the development of new ideas, while understanding the legal framework for protecting intellectual property.
Through the promotion of the KAPILA initiative, J C College of Law aims to strengthen the culture of innovation, creativity, and intellectual property awareness within the academic community.
